There is no famous poet or famous works by women authors. Under such situation, “The Monthly Poetry by Imperial Court Ladies (内裏女中月次続歌)”, owned by the National Museum of Japanese History, was reported. This book contained eight times of monthly poetry that performed from 1484 through 1486 presented by 5 men and 13 women.
