Since the Heian period the word has lost most of its original meaning and has come to be used more as a decorative expression for introducing words associated with clothing.\nHowever, I wonder if that is reall y the case. In the collection of poems in poem 952, volume 6, of the Manyoshu, the kara of karakoromo is not the Chinese kara ,but the Korean kara. The karain the Manyoshu usually means the Korean peninsular. When you examine the six poems carefully, you see that the poems are , in fact, about ka rakoromo. Consequently, the truth comes to light. That is , that the Ka rakoromo was a kind of an overcoat that was sewn in autumn, that it was about 7/10 in length and that it was normally worn inside-out in the front. It came from the Kofuku which was worn by the northern barbarians the period before.\nSecondly, Karakoromo in the Kokinshu is also not merely associated with clothing. Here it is a poetic word based upon the actual Karakoromo. From this we know that the word was used as live rhetoric. Then, from the Kokinshu era the word Kara was used to mean China instead of Korea and took on a Chinese image. Furthermore, it seems, as is evident from the expression 'tamotoyutakani'(No. 805), that it had come to mean widesleeves and not tight-sleeves.\nTherefore, from this we see that the word Karakoromo, which until now was thought to have been either the Kara dress from China or to have been used without actually knowing its true meaning, is in fact, used in its true meaning within poetry. It is used as live rhetoric. Consequently, it is now possible to clearly interpret those expressions which have till now been unclear on the basis of this.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10003_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.24619/00002165","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_10003_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国文学研究資料館"}]},"item_10003_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0387-7280","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"片岡, 智子"},{"creatorName":"カタオカ, トモコ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"24855","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"KATAOKA, Tomoko","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"24856","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2018-09-10"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"I1503.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"17.0 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_11","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"研究発表 「からころも(韓衣・唐衣)」考 ―歌語の実態と消長―","url":"https://kokubunken.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/2169/files/I1503.pdf"},"version_id":"30147155-9eb5-4837-ad79-c62772a09076"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"conference paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_5794"}]},"item_title":"研究発表 「からころも(韓衣・唐衣)」考 ―歌語の実態と消長―","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"研究発表 「からころも(韓衣・唐衣)」考 ―歌語の実態と消長―"},{"subitem_title":"A Study about karakoromo\\nThe actual situation and history of the poetic word","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10003","owner":"3","path":["252"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2016-09-02"},"publish_date":"2016-09-02","publish_status":"0","recid":"2169","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["研究発表 「からころも(韓衣・唐衣)」考 ―歌語の実態と消長―"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-05-15T15:36:04.600242+00:00"}
