His position in the literary world is not that of a writer of laborer literature nor that of the proletarian writer but rather that of a \"fourth social class writer\" according to Moriyama Shigeo. The intimate relations between Nakanishi and Korea can be inferred from his interchanges with Korean literary figures and a series of works using Korean materials. The love which he felt for the lowest segments of society was his ver foundation and he depicted colonial Korea with realism particularly in the novels which are staged in the Korea of the 1910's, Planted in the Red Earth, The Insubordinate Korean, and From Behind You.\nIn this paper I would like to examine three aspects of the relationship between Nakanishi Inosuke and the Korean literary world .\n1. The reception of Nakanishi Inosuke's literary works which use Korean materials.\n2. The details and circumstances relating to Nakanishi Inosuke 's participation in \"The Great Lecture Gathering on Thought\" which was held in Korea in August of 1925.\n3.
