It describes a night a man and a woman spend in a magnificent landscape. Yusenkutsu was introduced during the same epoch to Korea and Japan and has influenced, by its style and topic, the literature of the two countries. This paper will compare Yusenkutsu with Ise Monogatari and with the Korean Choi-chi-won-jean and attempt to clarify the essential characteristics of Ise Monogatari by focusing on the following main aspects. First, I consider the relationship between Yusenkutsu and Ise Monogatari. The setting of the first dan and the choice of main characters as Maruyama Kiyoko has already argued, are a point of influence. If, on the other hand, one looks at the relationship between Yusenkutsu and Choi-chi-won-jean, one can notice several similarities: the setting and choice of main characters, the use of poems in the description of the characters' feelings, the concreteness and detail of their portrayal. As far as the influence of Yusenkutsu on Choi-chi-won-jean and Ise Monogatari is concerned, one can say that it is stronger on the former than on the latter. Especially with respect to structure, apart from the fact that both works are centered on poems, there is an obvious difference in the way the setting and the characters are described. For example, while both Yusenkutsu and Choi-chi-won-jean are using bold descriptions, Ise Monogatari has no degree of concreteness as to setting or characters. Furthermore, an essential difference in the world-view the three works express is present. Having as a starting point Yusenkutsu, the authors of Choi-chi-won-jean and, respectively, Ise Monogatari have pursued the description of different worlds: the former talks about the meaning and hardships of life, the latter about the transience of life. By looking at Choi-chi-won-jean and Ise Monogatari, works that have been cherised in the same epoch, from the standpoint of their relationship to Yusenkutsu, I hope to point out even better the essential features of Ise Monogatari.}, pages = {9--32}, publisher = {国文学研究資料館}, title = {研究発表 『伊勢物語』の構想とその世界 ―『遊仙窟』と『崔致遠伝』との比較を通して―}, year = {1999}, yomi = {パク, ギンミ} }
