I try to bring to light something of the relationship between Date Masamune (died at 70, in Edo at Sakuradatei, on May 24 1636―13th year of Kan'ei), most important daimyo in Tohoku, and the first generation Katsura no Miya, Toshihito Shinno (passed away at 51, on April 7 1629―6th year of Kan'ei).
