Among them, the delegation of 1764 offers a good image of the exchages between the two countries as well as the feelings the ordinary Japanese held against the Koreans, both aspects being at the time at a turning point. I shall focus on the 11th Korean delegation, the one of 1764, trying to bring to light its true image on basis of Japanese and Korean documents that refer to it. As records of the 11th delegation there are: ambassador's Cho Eom Haesa-Ilki, chief secretary's Nam Ok Ilkwanki and Ilkwan Chang Jak, secretary's Seong Dae Jung Ilbon- Rok, secretary's Won Jung Keo Seungsa-Rak and Hwa Kuk-ji, Li-Eon Jin's Song Mok Kwan Sin Yo Ko, O Dae Ryung's Gaemi-Saheng-Ilki, clerk's Kim In Kyom Il Dong Jangyu Ga to name only a few. From the Japanese side, records such as Chosenjin-Raihei-Gyoretsu, Kanshi-Raihei-Kiroku, Horeki-14nen-Chosen-Shiki, Chosen-Raihei-Horeki-Monogatari and many others have remained. I shall center my discussion on ambassador's Cho Eom's Haesa-Ilki and Kim In Kyom's Il Dong Jangyu Ga and, through a comparison with other records such as listed above, I shall look describe a few incidents and at the exchanges between the two countries. At the same time, I shall look at the feelings the ordinary Japanese of the time held against the Koreans. Last but not least, the poem making sessions held by Korean and Japanese literati together at the various points during the delegation's journey can be said to have been a distinctive way of collaboration between the two countries and, at the same time, a good opportunity for the literati of the countryside to check the depths of their knowledge. I would like to illustrate this affirmation with concrete examples.}, pages = {150--166}, publisher = {国文学研究資料館}, title = {研究発表 朝鮮学士の日記・紀行文にみる朝鮮通信使の旅}, year = {1999}, yomi = {パク, チャンキ} }
