The purpose of this presentation is to examine in detail the interplay between the images projected by both language and visual media in this work, a representative example of haiga. In addition, I wish to examine the relevance of Masaoka Shiki's short criticism in Byôshô Rokushaku, where he regards the hokku captions as boring and distracting.\nHôitsu had a code of painting and poeticizing the city. With regards to haiku, I have already discussed the fact that the group Hôitsu was connected with was gathered around Kikaku in “Kansei Zenki no Hôitsu” (Kinsei Bungei, No.73, January, 2001), and Hôitsu’s absorption of Kikaku’s assimilation of city imagery in “Hôitsu no Edo no Hyosho” (Waseda Daigaku Daigakuin Bungaku Kenkyû Kiyô, Volume 46, Book 3, March, 2001). Hôitsu’s haiku up to the Kansei period show similarities in regards to the locality of haiku in a city setting to Maeda Shunrai’s introduction in Azumaburi, Sato Bantoku’s Tsuki Murasaki and Kojikibukuro, etc., demonstrating a potentially heavy influence on Hôitsu's work.\nLikewise, when the depictions of Mt. Fuji and Tsukuba in another of Hôitsu’s works Etekagami is examined from the perspective of pictures and haiku, it becomes conceivable that the theme of the city also played an important role in his paintings. However, when his poetry diary Keikyokan Kusô is examined with regards to haiku, his hokku during the Bunsei period are comprised almost entirely of gagen, or noble words, and his painting likewise takes on a noble flavor. He also begins having exchanges with the ryuei renga masters Saka Shôsei and Shôkô. Does this mean Hôitsu fell entirely over to “noble” aesthetics? As it would appear, his interest in the “common” aspect of city life and environment did not fade during the Bunsei period, but coexisted with his new endeavors. During this presentation, while identifying Hôitsu’s relations to people in Shin Yoshiwara as well as his connection to events such as Tamagiku's 100th memorial, and through examining the (estimated) Bunsei period works “Yoshiwara Tsukinami Fûzoku Zu” and its variant “Kagai Ryûkô Zukan”, I hope to be able to reaffirm Hôitsu’s interest in the city by reading through his poetry and paintings, and also to offer some answer to Shiki’s criticism.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10003_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.24619/00002653","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_10003_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国文学研究資料館"}]},"item_10003_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0387-7280","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"井田, 太郎"},{"creatorName":"イダ, タロウ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"25179","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"IDA, Tarô","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"25180","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2018-09-10"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"I2510.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"10.8 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_11","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"研究発表 抱一筆「吉原月次風俗図」の背景","url":"https://kokubunken.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/2657/files/I2510.pdf"},"version_id":"f76182e3-3d1f-4d87-8822-08e3d61021b3"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"conference paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_5794"}]},"item_title":"研究発表 抱一筆「吉原月次風俗図」の背景","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"研究発表 抱一筆「吉原月次風俗図」の背景"},{"subitem_title":"The Background of Hoitsu's Haiga \"Yoshiwara Tsukinami Fûzoku Zu\"","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10003","owner":"3","path":["262"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2016-10-07"},"publish_date":"2016-10-07","publish_status":"0","recid":"2657","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["研究発表 抱一筆「吉原月次風俗図」の背景"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-05-15T15:31:25.750008+00:00"}
