In turn, numerous works borrowed from Tsuuzoku Sangokushi. This presentation will look at Sangokushi Gaden (printed from Tenpo 2-5(1831-1834), story by Jippensha Ikku, illustrations by Utagawa Kuniyasu). This is a work simplification of the content of Tsuuzoku Sangokushi, with added illustrations. What bears notice is that this work, through editing and illustrations, reworks Tsuuzoku Sangokushi and presents its own take on the story.\nIn the many works of the Sangokushi genre of the Edo period, each has a different focus in their story. For example, in the kibyoushi Tsuuzoku Sangokushi (Tenmei 8, 1788) Guan-yu and Zhuge Liang form the center of the tale, almost as though it was a story of their lives. The yomihon Ehon Tsuuzoku Sangokushi (Tenpo 7 to 12, 1836-1841) followed the trend at the time set by the warrior illustrations in Suikoden by focusing on the stylization of the warriors. Even so, works of the Sangokushi genre, while showing much individuality, also have similarities. For example, there is the famous scene of the “Peach Garden oath.” Interestingly enough, Sangokushi Gaden has no illustration of this scene. Rather, Sangokushi Gaden utilizes tactical illustrations to present the stories of the battles. The author Ikku’s deep interest in tactical maps can be seen in examples such as the inclusion of maps for illustrating the Battle at the Red Cliffs. It should be noted that such topographical battle maps are not seen in other Japanese Sangokushi works, nor in the original Romance of the three kingdoms. Ikku’s effort to remove excess side stories and tie things together as a larger war story can be seen through both the content and the illustrations of the Sangokushi Gaden.\nThis presentation will look at how the stories in Sangokushi Gaden and Tsuuzoku Sangokushi are represented through their illustrations. This will be done by first looking at how the original Sangokushi Engi was illustrated and what kind of a story it tells. Next, through looking at the illustrations of the Sangokushi genre, we will look at what appealed to people in Japan. Through looking at the trends in illustrations in China and Japan, we will analyze the illustrations in Sangokushi Gaden, and work towards discovering the special characteristics of Sangokushi Gaden.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10003_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.24619/00002724","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_10003_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国文学研究資料館"}]},"item_10003_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"0387-7280","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"梁, 蘊嫻"},{"creatorName":"リョウ, ウンケン","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"25311","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"LIANG, Yun-Hsien","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"25312","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2018-09-10"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"I3003.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"14.9 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_11","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"研究発表 『三国志画伝』における『通俗三国志』の理解 ―挿絵を手掛かりとして―","url":"https://kokubunken.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/2728/files/I3003.pdf"},"version_id":"6b6a299d-3cf5-4b73-8247-73f0c2c35041"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"conference paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_5794"}]},"item_title":"研究発表 『三国志画伝』における『通俗三国志』の理解 ―挿絵を手掛かりとして―","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"研究発表 『三国志画伝』における『通俗三国志』の理解 ―挿絵を手掛かりとして―"},{"subitem_title":"Interpretations of Tsuuzoku Sangokushi in Sangokushi Gaden\\n~An Examination of its Illustrations","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10003","owner":"3","path":["267"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2016-10-13"},"publish_date":"2016-10-13","publish_status":"0","recid":"2728","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["研究発表 『三国志画伝』における『通俗三国志』の理解 ―挿絵を手掛かりとして―"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-05-15T15:28:38.644117+00:00"}
