Particularly, translation of classics inherent in difficult-to-understand sentences due to omission of subjects and elements of time in connection with the understanding of work cannot be accomplished merely by word-for-word translation. In short, the translation of classics becomes one complete world with not only texts but also notes and comments and the grasp of the keynote of the work strongly influences the translation.\nSo, this presentation considers how translators grasp work from the standpoint of “Completion of Korean Translation of “Kagerou Nikki”―Its Significance and Problems―” and how their take on affects their translation related to the study so far. And the presentation also deals with problems in the course of Korean translation including subjects, predicates, tense, description words, time to express “Now”, Waka-poems, and political, social, cultural terms.
