 note = {pdf, フランスでは19世紀前半より国立古文書学校が古文書の研究およびアーキビスト養成を担ってきた。一方、大量で多様な現代の行政文書にも対応するため、1990年代より大学、特に修士課程におけるアーカイブズ学教育が顕著に増加した。後者は現場のアーキビストを養成する目的に特化しており、実践力・即戦力を重視している。
大学の教育課程が発展してきたことにより、フランスのアーカイブズ学教育も縦・横の広がりを見せている。まず縦の広がり（ランキング）として国立古文書学校から大学の複数レベルの課程においてそれぞれの段階ごとに就職機会が設けられている。一方、横の広がりでは時間軸である歴史文書と現代アーカイブズという区切りや、空間軸に広がる媒体やテーマの切り口を通して、大学ごとに特色を見せながら隣接分野との繋がりを拡張している。
本稿では現場のアーキビスト養成を狙いとした大学の修士課程のひとつであるアンジェ大学と、学生にアーキビストの視点を与える導入および現職者の能力証明の機会として機能しているポアティエ大学独自の免状によるアーカイブズ学教育を例に、現在のフランスのアーカイブズ学教育の一端を紹介する。そしてその成り立ちから現在の課題を考えてみたい。
Beginning in the first half of the nineteenth century, France established the École nationale des chartes, which is an institution dedicated to archival research and education. Furthermore, as a means of meeting a growing demand for people proficient in the management of the large quantity and wide variety of government-related documents produced by modern-day government offices, starting in 1990, courses in archival studies and the education of archivists were developed for use within the universities, especially those for graduate students in the master’s program. These university courses, focusing as they do on practical training, have taken on the specialized role of creating professional archivists. It is in virtue of these developments within French universities that the field of archival studies within France has made such progress, both vertically and horizontally. Vertically, in the sense that on several levels, from the École nationale des chartes up to the universities, students are provided with various opportunities for employment along the way. Horizontally, insofar as archival studies cover, first, a broad historical range of documents, both premodern and modern, and second, a wide range of media and themes. Each university offers their own special brand of training, and encourages students to explore related fields of study in order to broaden their understanding. 
In this article, I introduce one example of the modern state of archival studies in French universities by looking at the case of archival education in the master’s program offered at Université d'Angers, along with a unique license offered by Université de Poitiers, which provides students with an introduction to the perspective of an archivist and the skills necessary for work in the field. I would like to examine the processes that led up to this favorable state of affairs as a means of tackling some of the major issues currently facing archival studies in France.},
