Due to the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster, many of those areas are classified "difficult-to-return zone" or "zone-in-preparation-for-the-lifting-of-the-evacuation-order" (formerly known as "restricted areas" and "planned evacuation areas"). In those disaster-stricken areas, relief and conservation of historical materials are still continuing, and many new historical materials are discovered. The document management history of the area based on the archives studies of each area is essential in grasping the contents of newly-discovered historical materials.
