Briefly, the mechanism is that by damming up a flow of the life, it rather be compressed, then begins to surge. Three works which were taken up are related to a theme of the prohibition. “Kesho”(化粧)is set in a special space where a restroom of the undertaker’s. When it assumed that a funeral hall is a place of a death and the prohibition, a restroom is a place of the excretion and is private space of the liberation. The author uses the restroom skillfully as a space shown evil spirit and the pureness of the woman, and it harvests the fruits of 「水を浴びたやうな驚きで、危く叫び出す」(I very nearly begin to cry with a cold shudder ran through me.) Kimiko, a main character of “Zakuro”(ざくろ)is conscious of prohibition called the world between Keikichi to go to the front now on, however to get over it, a concentrated scene of being alive is able to be emitted by using a pomegranate which was there accidentally. It speaks to readers with variety of meanings more than the level of the simple symbol. The life of Kyoko of “Suigetsu”(水月)is supported by tension occurring from two totally different world. One is the world of the ex-husband who died of an illness and the other is the world of the present husband who is healthy, but dull. There was an ascetic theme in the world of the husband who died of chest trouble and a mirror intervened among them to supplement it. The world through the mirror was more beautiful, clear and fresh. This world had a factor as a child and mother more than husband and wife. Kyoko becomes pregnant by current husband.
