The main items in his collection are now included in \"Shun-sho Bunko\" at Soai University. If buying and sometimes selling old books is what makes a person a full-fledged book collector, Tanaka was one of those book collectors.  There is a memo written by TANAKA in the 1970s.  Looking at them, we can confirm that he had other ideas for his work besides his study of \"Makura no soshi\".
