This book which recorded as for 16 for Kanzeza（観世座）・17 for Hoshoza（宝生座）,・10 for Oheyayakushashu（御部屋役者衆）・4 for Soyakushashutoritsugi (Furenagashi)（惣役者衆取次）（触流）, of 47 Noh actors in total were reflected circumstances from 1688 to 1689 from articles in a content and the time of publication can be estimated at that time. This book which praised Hosho Kuro as “a Tayu of the rising sun of the age” symbolized that there were more number of actors who were referred there in Hoshoza than in Kanzeza which was ranked at the top among the major four Noh schools, it described the reflection of the Hosho school conspicuously in the era of Tsunayoshi. It is an excellent reference to know the atmosphere of Noh community at that time included Hoshoza which was favored by Shogun Tsunayoshi in spite of an incomplete book.
