This book is the oldest Bungencho of Noh actors to our furthest knowledge at the present. Dated back about one century beyond, “Oyakusha Bungencho in 1783”(天明三年御役者分限帳)which was the oldest Bungencho while being introduced so far, this is a valuable material to know the actual status of in-house Noh actors of the Edo bakufu (Japanese federal government headed by shogun) in the early Edo period. The Genroku period was the time when the Noh industry was at the mercy of Shogun Tsunayoshi, removing actors, changing seats, promoting Noh performers to the class of samurai were frequently executed. This book is also valuable to be recorded in the midst of that period and it is an indispensable material for the study of Nogaku in the Edo period. To introduce it using photocopy, some explanatory notes and a list of contents were added.}, pages = {319--373}, title = {影印・解題『元禄十一年能役者分限帳之控』}, year = {1993}, yomi = {キノシタ, フミタカ} }
