Between image data of the manuscript and printed books and text data which reprinted it, it is considered to use correspondence relation indicating the same place during a document with a computer. By using this, it will be possible to investigate and analyze while linking both of them, to show two-way reference relation, to use the image data as interface when text data is calculated. As an example of the latter, a prototype to retrieve an inputted handwritten character search which performs a character string search as if on image data was introduced.
