 note = {pdf, 三巻本『枕草子』にしか見えない「九月二十日あまりのほど」の段は、従来の研究ではあまり注目されてこなかったものである。この段の内容を改めて考えみると、いくつかの問題点を挙げることができる。例えば、「九月二十日」はいったいいつの年なのか。仮名文学において「窓」の用例はすくないが、ここで「月の窓より洩り」の「窓」はどういう意味で現れているのだろうか。段末には「人歌よむかし」において「人」はどのような人を想定していたのだろうか、さらにどのような「歌」であろうか。これらの問題点を考えてみたい。

Sei Shonagon's reaction to this sight is to say, This is precisely the sort of moment when people compose poems. The question is whether she was referring to Japanese or Chinese poems. Scholars working on Makura no Soushi have been unable to identify Japanese poems of a suitable
nature. I suggest that she may have had in mind Chinese poems.},
