And I clear up the succession of the records, and especially the process for the accumulated knowledge to be managed And transmitted beyond \"the family\".\nThen this study will approach the matter of knowledge succession in the early modern period.\nIn practical analysis, I picked up the Hitachi country Ushibori-mura, Namegata-gun, Suda Shintakus and their book collection. And thinking of the financial or business conditions and social relations of both the head family and Shintaku, I clarified the way how to form and transmit book collection, \"group\" In addition, I clarified that while the family head became aware of himself as a head of a family and \"the family\" was formed, the way in which records, including books, should be managed and used would be changed.\nRecords in the early modern, that is, knowledge is a product of the activity of the head of a family and \"the family\", and when it is used by ''the family'', the social position of the family\" is re-produced. It is rare that knowledge in the early modern period is transmitted beyond \"the family\". It is usually transmitted within, ''the family'' as a family property.
