 note = {pdf, アーカイブズ記述の国際標準であるISAD(G)の制定を受けて、ポルトガルではISAD(G)に基づきながらも、従来の慣習を一部踏襲した独自の記述標準の制定が行われた。しかし、国際標準と従来の慣習の両者の折り合いをつけた結果、従来の慣習から多少の変化が生じた部分については、実際の記述例において一貫性を欠いた状況が発生する可能性があると考えられる。特に、従来の慣習と国際標準の間での相違点が存在する「記述レベル」に関しては、一貫性の欠如による設定方法のばらつきが際立って見受けられるであろう。

ISAD(G)にはなく、ポルトガル標準に独自に存在する記述レベルとして、ISAD(G)のフォンドとシリーズの間の階層位置に相当するsecção(セクサォン）と、記述レベルのなす階層構造からは独立し、いかなる階層位置にも設定されうるとされるunidade de instalação(ウニダーデ・デ・インスタラサォン）の2つを挙げることができる。本稿では、ポルトガル標準の記述レベルに関する特徴を明らかにするために、この2つの記述レベルに焦点を絞って詳細な検証を試みた。初めに、関係する先行研究や基になった従来の慣習における用語の定義等を参照し、定義やその設定条件の暖昧さの解消に努めることで、一貫性の欠如を解消する糸口を模索し、さらに実例と照合し論理の整合性を確認した。次に、ポルトガル標準に則してなされた記述例の全体像を概観することで、新しい記述標準の浸透度合が不十分であると考えられることを明らかにした。

After the General International Standard of Archival Description ISAD(G) was put into operation, a national standard  based on lSAD(G) was enforced maintaining some elements of traditional unwritten rule in Portugal. It is possible, however, that some archival units are described inconsistently the change of traditional rule caused by the adaptation to lSAD(G). Most cases of the inconsistency may be seen in the elements of level of description, where exist several differences between the traditional rule and lSAD(G).
There are two characteristic levels of description under the national standard. One is called “secção'', which corresponds to the level locating between "fond" and "series" under lSAD(G). And the other is called “unidade de instalação'', which doesn't correspond with any levels, or in other words, it can locate with any grades of an archival hierarchy. In this article, those two levels of description are analyzed in detail clarifying the definition and the case in which those are set with preceding studies and archival dictionary published before lSAD(G), and showing actual examples from online databases. Moreover, the lack of diffusion of the national standard has been found by statistics of actual examples of description.},
