| 内容記述 | 民間アーカイブズが直面している滅失の危機の一つの要因に、災害による被災がある。広島県立文書館では、「平成30年西日本豪雨」で被災した槙林家文書の保全活動に取り組んできた。乾燥などの応急処置を終えた槙林家文書は、被災をまぬがれた文書とともに当館に寄贈され、現在整理中である。本稿では、応急処置後の槙林家文書の整理と保存について、現在までの状況を振り返り、多くの方々の力で保全された槙林家文書の目録の公開と活用にむけて、整理の進め方や保存の対処について、今後の課題を探る。 また、地域歴史資料としての槙林家文書の概要とともに、「災害を語る歴史資料」として、当館での展示や大学の学外実習、槙林家の地元瀬野での報告会などで活用した事例を紹介し、地域の歴史資料保存機関として、民間アーカイブズの救出と保全を行う意義と課題を考える。 |

| 内容記述 | Currently, private archives are facing the risk of losing their documents. One of the major risks is the damage from natural disasters. Hiroshima Prefecture Archives have rescued and conserved the Makibayashi Family Documents which were damaged by the West Japan Rain Disaster in 2018 (Heisei 30). After emergency treatment, such as drying the paper, the Makibayashi Documents were donated to Hiroshima Prefecture Archives, as well as other undamaged documents. The documents which were rescued are now in process of being catalogued. This article is about the whole process from the emergency treatment to the current sorting and conservation work at Hiroshima Prefecture Archives. The intention of the present article is to discuss and find the best process for sorting and conserving such documents. This article also gives a quick view of local history from the Makibayashi Documents, as well as the history of the disaster. The documents were displayed not only in some historical exhibitions, but also at the report meeting in the Makibayashi family’s local town, Seno. Such activities enabled us to support these private archives through ongoing continuous conservation. Here we hope to document the importance of our activities and also discuss what we have to do in the future. |
