| 内容記述 | The atomic bomb attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki traumatised the whole population of these cities. Many writers and poets such as Ota Yoko, Toge Sankichi, Kurihara Sadako and Hara Tamiki, being witnesses to these tragedies, left behind their literary testimonies written soon after, in various forms: essays, short stories and novels, blank verses etc. However, the case of Hara Tamiki was very specific. From the day the atomic bomb was dropped over Hiroshima, he made notes in a small black leather notebook and these notes, later called “Notes of the Atomic Bombing”, became the main source in the writing of the first officially published (1947) novel about the atomic bombing, “Summer Flowers”. In my paper, I discussed shortly the fates of the three above mentioned writers. I then, concentrated on the life of Hara Tamiki and his writings on the atomic bombing, comparing his “Notes,” with his short stories and poetry based on these “Notes”. |
