| 内容記述 | 式亭三馬は滑稽本「浮世風呂」の作者として有名であるが、当時の文壇にあって彼はいかなる文芸を追求したのであろうか。また真にこの作者の支えとなった作品は何か。その点では先ず文化三年の合巻「雷太郎強悪物語」の大当りを考えたい。この作品なしには式亭三馬は成立しなかったであろう。また、「敵討安達太郎山」「力競稚敵討」など文化期初頭の悪漢小説、残酷小説で三馬は有名になったのであるが、三馬の作風は「雷太郎強悪物語」と文化五年の草稿「坂東太郎強盗譚」を結ぶ線で考えたい。それはまた文化三年に書き始められた読本「阿古義物語」の中心人物、白波雲平の悪漢像とも共通するところである。これらの悪漢は読本の創作方法を合巻にとり入れたところに生じたのではなかろうか。この三馬の合巻の作風はともかく生涯にわたってみられ、遺稿「雲龍九郎倫盗伝」は楽亭西馬、仮名垣魯文によって書き継がれて幕末に及んでいる。ここに年少者を中心とする庶民大衆の夢が表現されているのではなかろうか。 Shikitei Samba is famous as an author of the Kokkeibon (humorous book) “Ukiyoburo”（浮世風呂）. What kind of literature did he pursue in the literary circles in those days? What is the work which became the support of this writer truly? On that point, I would like to consider a big hit of Gokan of “Ikazuchitaro Goaku Monogatari”（雷太郎強悪物語）in 1806 at first. Shikitei Sanba would not established it without this work. Although he became famous in his picaresque novel and cruel novel “Katakiuchi Adatarayama”（敵討安達太郎山）,“Chikarakurabe Osana Katakiuchi” （力競稚敵討）in the early part of the Bunka period. I would like to consider the writing style of Sanba in the line connecting “Ikazuchi Taro Goaku Monogatari” and a draft “Bando Taro Goto Monogatari” （坂東太郎強盗譚）in 1808. It is in common with a villain image of Shiranami Unpei who is a central character of Yomihon “Akogi Monogatari”（阿古義物語）which was began to write in 1806. Weren’t these villains produced by adopting the creative method of Yomihon to Gokan? In any case, the style of Gokan of him can be seen throughout his lifetime, his posthumous writings “Unryu Kuro Chutoden”（雲龍九郎倫盗伝）had been written to the end of the Edo period by Rakutei Saiba, Kanagaki Robun. A dream of the common people and the masses led by the younger people might be expressed here. |
