内容記述 | 今昔物語集の研究で国語学を除き、従来余り試承られていない言語表現そのものの考察を課題とし、作品に特徴的な語彙・語法や慣用表現の分析を通して物語の本質をとらえようとした。 Ⅰでは作中に頻出する強調表現「事无限シ」を中心に、関連資料との関係や表現の対象、物語の主題・話型、場面展開との対応を分析。依拠資料の影響をうけつつも、独自の表現意識で対象を強調し、時として主題・話型と齟齬しながらも物語形成に有効に機能する動態をとらえ、文体の力感そのものの指標として定位する。 Ⅱは美醜・汚穢に焦点をあて、美的語彙の一環として「微妙」と「微妙シ」をとりあげ、作品の展開に応じて漢語から和語へ転移していく様相を見、表現の対象や機能上の位相差をとらえる。醜悪・汚穢の面は、主に仏法でいう四苦(老病死)にまつわる形象に注目し、仏典や止観の深層への影響を見る。 Ⅲは慣用表現の「只人二非ズ」「鬼ニヤ有ラム」をとりあげ、前者は人物に対する驚嘆・賛嘆の評としての位相をとらえ、あわせて「権者」「化人」「変化ノ者」などとの対応も考察。後者は異様な人物や得体の知れないものと出会った際の常套的な心理で、そこに主題とは無縁に怪異譚的なるものへ傾斜させてしまう語りの指向を抽出する。 Ⅳは表現の統括としてある「希有」「奇異」をとりあげ、話末評語だけでなく、話中の人物の心情における用例との対応を分析し、その表現機能や物語の解釈原理を析出、さらに同時代の漢文日記の用例との近似性を指摘、表現形成の様態を検討する。 Consideration of the verbal expression itself which is not inspected much conventionally in study of Konjaku Monogatari Shu except the Japanese language is as a subject and the essence of stories through the analysis of vocabulary, usage and the idiomatic expression that is characteristic of a work was tried to comprehend. Ⅰ: Mainly on emphasis expression “Koto Kagirinashi”(事无限シ)to appear quite frequently in the work, relations with the related materials and object of the expression, the main theme, a story type, correspondence with the development of the story were analyzed. While being affected by the dependence material, emphasize an object for its own consciousness of expression, in some cases, it takes a movement which enable the function for the story formation effectively to localize the power of literary style itself as an indicator with discrepancy between the main theme, a story type. Ⅱ: The beauty and ugliness are focused on as a part of the aesthetic vocabulary, “Bimyo”(微妙)and “Bimyoshi”(微妙シ)were taken up and looked at how it is transferred from Chinese word to Japanese language depending on the development of the work and the object of expression and phase differences on the function are comprehended. Regarding the phase of ugly, impurity, while focusing on the image relating to so called the four kinds of suffering (old age, disease, death) of Buddhist, the influence on depth of Buddhist Scriptures and the Shikan(calm abiding and clear observation) were considered. Ⅲ: Ideoms such as “Tada hitoni arazu”(只人ニ非ズ),”Oniniyaaramu”(鬼ニヤ有ラム)were taken up. The former captured the difference as the review in the wonder・admiration for person and also the correspondence with “Gonja”(権者),”Kenin”(化人),”Hengenomono”(変化ノ者)were considered. The latter is conventional phycology when someone met a strange person or mysterious things. A point of the talk which inkling to a text of a supernatural unrelated to the main theme were extracted. Ⅳ: “Rare”(希有),”Odd”(奇異)which are unification of the expression are taken up not only the end comment but also the correspondence with the example in the feelings of the characters in the story are analyzed and the expressive function and interpretation principle of the story are educed. Moreover the approximation with the example of the classical Chinese diary of the same period are pointed to examine the aspect of the expression formation. |
