| 内容記述 | 京都の書肆八文字屋八左衛門は初代八文字自笑の時代に役者評判記・浮世草子の出版に一時期を画した。しかしその強引な商策は必ずしも後代の繁栄につながらず、孫の三代自笑（八文舎自笑）の晩年には閉店に至る。本稿は三代自笑の当主の時期に重点をおき、浮世草子の衰退、大火罹災と大坂移転、新方面の開拓が資本力、本屋仲間の制約で思うようにならぬ反面、有利な方面での同業者の攻勢、後継者不在から没落に至る経緯を跡付ける。 Hachimonjiya Hachizaemon who was a publisher in Kyoto was epochal in the time of Hachimonji Jisho the first for the publication of “Yakushahyobanki”（役者評判記）,”Ukiyozoshi”（浮世草子）. This article traces while placing an important point at the time of the head of Jisho the third, the decline of “Ukiyozoshi”, the Great Fire and relocation to Osaka, the exploitation of the new area did not go as he expected by a capital power and the limitation of the profession, on the other hand, he got offensive of the person in the same profession in the advantageous area and the process to lead to fall from the lack of successors. |
