| 内容記述 | 『とはずがたり』の人物呼称の不統一は作品の生成の二面性によるものであろう。一般の殿上人について言うと、女房日記的な叙述では公的な視点に立つため、敬意が低い呼称が使われ、物語的な叙述では私的な視点に立つため敬意が高い呼称が使われる。作者の身内の場合は反対で、公的な視点からは身分相応の呼称が使われ、私的な視点からは敬意の低い呼称が使われる。 西園寺実兼の呼称については従来、実名仮名の二種類に分れることが指摘されてきたが、実は女房日記的叙述での春宮大夫（大納言）、物語的叙述での匿名呼称の他に、その中間的な呼称である「西園寺」及び「雪の曙」が存在している。「西園寺」「雪の曙」が登場する叙述は、一見違った描かれ方をしているかに見える「春宮大夫」と匿名の恋人とを結び付けるものであり、また、生まれを異にする日記的叙述と物語的叙述を結び付けるものである。 Inconsistency of name of characters in “Towazugatari” seemed to due to two aspects of its generation. Saying about general court nobles, a name of lower respect was used in description of Nyobo’s diary with a public viewpoint, on the other hand, a name of highest respect was used in stories with personal point of view. In case of relatives of the author, it is directly opposite, that is, a suitable name to one’s social status from public viewpoint and a name of lower respect was used from a personal point of view. Regarding the appellation of Saionji Sanekane, it was pointed out for some time that there were a real name and an assumed one. In fact, neutral appellations “Saionji” and “Yuki no akebono” exist Togu no daibu (chief councilor of the State) in description of Nyobo’s diary, the assume name in a description of story. Description which appeared “Saionji” ”Yuki no akebono” related “Togu no daibu” who was described seemingly different way to an anonymous lover, also a description in the diary was related to a description of a story that they were created differently. |
