| 内容記述 | 宣長が詠んだ桜の歌のうちに〈花帰根〉という趣意を詠んだものがあるが、これは『和漢朗詠集』の漢詩句の翻案以来、詠み継がれてきた趣向で、和歌に限らず謡曲や連俳狂歌にまで及ぶものである。そのうち、花が散って帰ってゆく根と、人が死んでのち往く場所とを重ね合わせた和歌や謡曲の詞章があるのに注意したい。また花の下で死ぬことを希求した西行の墓は、近世、似雲等の執念によって発見され、西行同様、花とともに死んだように伝説化された兼好の墓の穿鑿も、人々の大きな関心事であった。さらに、『続近世畸人伝』の編者三熊花顚も、桜三昧に徹した一人で、宣長に影響を与えたことが推測される。宣長は、これらの桜にまつわる伝説に共感しつつ、また自らの好尚を素直に表現する形で、その死生を演出したのであり、松桜各一株が植えられた塚と石塔からなる宣長の墓のうち、とくに山桜にそれが凝縮されている。 There is a song for the object of “Hana Ne ni Kaeru”（花帰根）in one of Norinaga’s poems. This is the idea that has been read since adaption of phrases of Chinese poem in “Wakanroei-shu”（和漢朗詠集）,not only waka but also extended to yokyoku (Noh song) and renpaikyoka (renga and haikai). The existence of verses of waka and yokyoku that roots which flowers fall and turn there overlapping with the place where a person goes after the death is necessary to be given attention. A tomb of Saigyo who hoped to die under the flowers were discovered by tenacity of Jiun and others in the modern times, to scrutinize the grave of Kenko who became a legend as if he had been dead with flowers the same as Saigyo also drew considerable attention of the people. Moreover, Mikuma Kaen who was an editor of “Zoku Kinsei-kijinden” (続近世畸人伝) was also one of those people who had inclination for cherry blossom zanmai, and it is assumed that he had influences on Norinaga. While sympathizing with these legend regarding the Cherry blossom, he directed life and death in form to express exquisite taste. Among the tombs of Norinaga which consisted of a mound where a pine tree and a cherry blossom were planted and a tombstone, especially it condensed in the wild cherry blossom. |
