| 内容記述 | 上野国館林の地には、中世、白狐「稲荷新左衛門」に城取を教えられて築いた城があった。狐の擬人名は数多く伝承されている。また、狐釣りの名人が「稲荷藤兵衛」と称された例もある。古来、狐と藤とは深く関わっていた。御伽草子『木幡狐』は狐と藤とが印象的に描かれた作品である。狐・藤・木幡の里、この三者を結ぶものは何であったのか。一方、大力を以て聞こえた板額女の登場する諸作品を取り上げ、越後城氏に纏わる狐の伝承との関連性を探る。越後国にも、領主を守護した「稲荷新左衛門」が存在していたと思われる。 There was a castle which was built by being taught how to take it from Byakko”Inari Shinzaemon” in Kouzukenokunitatebayashi in the Middle ages. A lot of personified names of the “Kitsune” are handed down. There was an example that the expert of the trapping a fox was called “Inaritobei”. “Kitsune” and “Fuji” had been deeply concerned with each other since ancient times. “Kowatagitune”(木幡狐） in Otogi Zoshi is the story which was strikingly described about them. “Kitsune”,”Fuji” and ”Village of Kowata”, what bound these three together? On the other hand, the works which Bangakujo who was renowned for her superhuman strength appeared was taken up and investigated a connection with the tradition of Kitsune concerning the Jo clan of Echigo. It is thought that Inari Shinzaemon who protected a feudal lord existed in Echigo also. |
