| 内容記述 | 山東京伝、曲亭馬琴の諸作の相互関係を中心に〈稗史もの〉読本の形成過程を跡づけようとする際に、文化三、四年（一八○六〜七）刊行の作については、従来はかばかしい説明がなされて来なかった。本稿では、まず、そこに至る京伝、馬琴の読本二七作の素材について、各作品の構成・趣向・主題にとっての重要性を再検討し、新たな基準で分類を施して一覧表として提示した上で、この時期京伝、馬琴が共に目指した方向が最も高いレヴェルで結実したのは、京伝『桜姫全伝曙草紙』（文化二・一二刊）であると結論づけた。また、これによって、京伝、馬琴は文化四年まで兄弟作者であるという稿者の仮説を一歩進めた。 The yomihon (a genre of fiction, written mainly in early 19th century Edo) by Santo Kyoden and Kyokutei Bakin produced in l806-07 have never been placed properly in context when tracing the formation of style of historical legend-based yomihon. This paper examines subject matters of 27 works by them of these years, in terms of how important each subject matter is to each work's construction, innovation, and theme, and comes to the conclusion that Kyoden's Sakurahime Zanden Akebono-zoshi (The dawn story of the whole life of princess Sakura, published in the 12th month 1805) is at the peak of what they both aimed for together. It supports the author's hypothesis that they were in a co-operative relationship until 1807. |
