| 内容記述 | 『方丈記』の諸本については、古本・流布本・略本の関係が長く論争になっているが、一方で、そうした問題を考えるうえで重要な、伝本のまとまった調査・研究は、鈴木知太郎・簗瀬一雄・青木伶子・草部了円ら以来、三十年以上行われていない。この三十年の間には、新たに出現した伝本もあるであろうし、所蔵者が変わったものもあるであろう。そこで、『方丈記』諸本の再調査を略本から進めているが、本稿では三系統ある略本のうち、延徳本系統・最簡略本系統について調査したところをまとめる。 延徳本・最簡略本については、関東大震災で焼失したものや、現在行方不明のものが多いことがわかったが、幸いそれらの影写本が豊富に残されていることも明らかになった。そこで本稿では、研究史を概観しながら、各伝本の解題を記し、影写本については、影写本相互の異同を整理して、散佚した伝本の原態を探る。 これまでの略本研究では、諸本間の異同が顧みられることは少なかった。しかし、本文異同の比較・対照に始まる本文の校訂作業は、研究に不可欠のものである。本稿では、そうした略本研究における問題点にも言及して、今後の研究に向けた階梯とする。 The relations among the old manuscripts (kohon), popular manuscripts (rufubon) and abridged manuscripts (ryakuhon) of the Hojoki (An Account of My Hut) by Kamo-no-Nagaakira (Chomei) have been a topic of long-standing debate. Yet, there has been no comprehensive examination or study of the relevant manuscripts since the work of Tomotaro Suzuki, Kazuo Yanase, Reiko Aoki and Ryoen Kusakabe. While there have been some advances in the investigation of the lineages of the three ryakuhon manuscripts, this article summarizes all that has been learnt about the Entokubon and Sai-kanryakubon lineages. Several manuscript copies of the Entokubon and Sai-kanryakubon lineages were either destroyed or lost in the Great East Japan Earthquake; however, their facsimile editions have survived. In preparing a historical overview of related research, I produced a synopsis of these manuscripts, clarifying their similarities to and differences from the original and exploring the provenance of the lost copies. Existing ryakuhon research has taken little notice of the differences among the various manuscripts. However, it is essential for future research that there be a critical edition that begins to compare and contrast these manuscripts with the original. This article also briefly discusses numerous relevant problems in the study of the ryakuhon. |
