| 内容記述 | 本論文は、近世京都の町人地における共同組織＝行政組織の基礎単位である町（個別町）を対象として、その文書保管を検討する。第一に、京都六角町の町式目から文書保管関連条項を検討する。第二に、1803年の町年寄預かり文書目録を分析し、文書の参照可能性の高低による保管場所の区分や、19世紀における文書保管の若干の変化を指摘する。第三に、現存する当時の保管容器の分析から物理的な問題も含めて保管空間を推定する。第四に、六角町という個別町よりも上位の組織である、仲十町組（組合町）および下京（惣町）における文書保管の様相も瞥見する。 以上から、現存六角町文書の階層構造について、サブ・フォンドを想定する。また、京都における町方文書保管の特徴は、交代制の担当者（個別町における町年寄）・担当組織(組合町・惣町における当番町）による帳箱の引継という方法であることが本稿の分析からほぼ確定できた。 This essay examines record keeping at cho, which was the fundamental unit of both neighborhood community and administrative organization in the townsmen area of early modern Kyoto. First, articles concerning record keeping in the rule of cho are read. Secondly, the inventory of records, deposited to cho-doshiyori (the officer and representative of neighborhood group) in l803, is investigated. Thirdly, the keeping space is reconstructed from the research of the existing small old chests for record keeping along with the analysis of the inventory. Fourthly, the situation of record keeping at the union of cho is also examined. These analyses show that the feature of record keeping in early modern Kyoto was the transfer of records chests to the next town officers who were changed monthly or year by year. This seems to have been the reflection of the equality of the communities in early modern Kyoto. |
