| 内容記述 | 昨今、様々な機関でクラウドソーシングの利用が増加している。MLA機関（博物館・図書館・文書館）においては、ボランティア活動の一環としてクラウドソーシングが取り入れられている事例が多い。 本稿では、クラウドソーシングの事例数が多い欧米諸国の取り組みに注目し、まずその傾向に触れた上で、MLA機関におけるクラウドソーシング利用例を独自に分類し、実際の事例を紹介する。日本の事例については、博物館と文書館でのクラウドソーシング利用事例は確認できず、図書館での３件のみが確認できた。MLA機関においてクラウドソーシングを導入するには、特定の職員への負担が増加するなどの課題はあるが、理念的な点から実利的な点まで、その導入の意義も多く認められる。これらを踏まえ、日本MLA機関におけるクラウドソーシング導入の可能性を探ると、主に「情報不足」「権利関連問題への懸念・知識不足」「作業精度確保への不安」という理由から導入が進んでいない現状があると考えられるため、これらの障害を取り除くことでクラウドソーシングの導入が増加する可能性があると考える。 Crowdsourcing has become a common practice in a variety of institutions. MLA (museums, libraries, and archives) institutions have introduced the practice of crowdsourcing as part of their volunteer efforts. This article focuses on examples from occidental MLA institutions. Having discussed the tendencies in use of crowdsourcing in such institutions, I present a classification in types of crowdsourcing tasks within the MLA context. I have also included example projects for each type. In regards to the situation in Japan, I was unable to confirm any instances of crowdsourcing among museums and archives. I was able to find only three examples of crowdsourcing in libraries. While, practically speaking, the introduction of crowdsourcing in MLA institutions requires challenges such as certain employees to increase their workload, the potential benefits of crowdsourcing can be recognized, both in terms of its conceptual and tangible advantages. Research points out three common reasons why MLA institutions in Japan are reluctant to introduce the practice of crowdsourcing: insufficient knowledge, concerns about various rights issues, as well as concerns about quality-control. The use of crowdsourcing would be increased in MLA institutions in Japan if these concerns were resolved. |
