| 内容記述 | 中世の口頭を主とする社会から近世の文書を不可欠とする社会への移行は、文字の意思伝達機能と記録機能を基礎とする社会への移行であった。「文書による支配」といわれる近世統治システムは、地域が文字読解能力を持っていることが前提であり、同時に地域は後日の証拠や参照のために文書を管理・保存してきた｡19世紀に入り初等教育機関が普及して文字を知る村人が一段と増加した。それは、商品経済の発展などによる文字使用機会の増大に対応する必要性によったものである。こうして文書主義社会がしだいに厚みを増し、管理・保存の必要な文書はしだいに増加してきた。 本稿は、近世社会の特質や文書主義を背景に置いて、「文書による支配と文書主義」と「近世社会の仕組みと文書管理」について具体的に検討したものである。 The shift from the middle ages to the early modern ages, that means from mouth to documents, was the shift to the community based on the communication function by character and recording function. Reign system in the early modern ages called "control by the documents" supposed the ability of reading in community. At the same time, documents had been managed and preserved in community for evidence and reference. In the l9th century, the number of villagers who entered elementary educational institute and knew the character had increased further. It was due to necessity for using character increasingly by the growth of commodity economy. Thus, the society of documents principle had progressed gradually, documents which needed managing and preserving were increased. This article concretely examines "control by the documents and documents principle" and "the mechanism of the early modern society and documents management" against the background of the characteristic of the early modern society and document principle. |
